LTP Lidar

The LTP Lidar was a simple 2D lidar I hacked together based on the LidarLiteV3 back in 2017 when the cheapest half decent 2D rig you could get was 5 grand.

I used a PIC24F to interface with it and built a custom actuated PID controlled head with slip ring and encoder. If looking for a Lidar unit nowadays there are cheaper 3D units nowadays.
